La Ronde Presents a Special Edition of L’International des Feux Loto-Québec

Sept. 4 CANCELED

CANCELED THE SEPTEMBER 4th DISPLAY

Following the analysis by the Public Health Department, we unfortunately have to cancel the special edition of L’International des Feux Loto-Québec scheduled for September 4 at La Ronde. The nature of this event undoubtedly creates large gatherings that are difficult to manage in several places outside our site, that is to say over large sections of Montréal. It therefore represents too high of a risk in the current epidemiological context, considering the increase in cases in recent weeks both in Montréal and in neighboring regions. While we are very disappointed about this situation, we respect the decision of Public Health and as always, the safety and health of our guests, employees and our community remain our top priority.

We will certainly be back brighter than ever next season!

Due to the ongoing situation and the uncertainty of international borders reopening at this time, the usual competition will be replaced by a special, one-time only fireworks display that will pay tribute to essential workers. The event will take place on Labor Day weekend. The competition as we know it will return in the summer of 2022.

“La Ronde is proud to collaborate with Loto-Québec and to invite spectators to this event which will once again light up the skies of Montreal. This pyro-musical display will celebrate the tireless work of essential workers, who have been on the frontlines for over a year,” said La Ronde President Sophie Emond.

This special edition will feature the return of the “Oh” and “Ah”! created by our talented pyrotechnicians. The 30-minute fireworks spectacular will take place at La Ronde on the lac des Dauphins.
