Because Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix is a family park, we expect Guests to behave appropriately. Violating our park policies may be cause for ejection from the park without refund. For more information, please see the park policies below.

Hurricane Harbor accepts card and mobile payments only at all locations including restaurants, retail stores, games, ticket windows, and parking toll booths. You can either pay for purchases using a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a debit card. Only have cash? You can convert your cash to a prepaid debit card at one of the multiple kiosks located throughout the park and anywhere in the U.S. where Visa is accepted. We highly encourage you to pre-purchase your parking, tickets, and more online before visiting the park.

All Guests are expected to behave in an appropriate family-friendly manner. Unruly, disruptive or offensive behavior, including line-jumping/holding places in line, is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.
In keeping with our family-friendly atmosphere, and for health and safety reasons, Six Flags strictly enforces a dress code. Proper swimwear is required. Swimwear with rivets or any other metal ornamentation is not permitted on the water slides. Clothing or tattoos with offensive language or graphics are not permitted at any time.
Examples of clothing not permitted are those displaying:
- Graphic violence
- Support of drugs and drug use
- Gang symbols
- Promotion of discrimination against any group
Provocative swimwear and long pants are not permitted. All children must be in appropriate swimwear. Children wearing diapers must wear an approved WATERPROOF DIAPER available at Tradewinds.
Park admission may be denied if clothing or tattoos are deemed to be inappropriate by management and the Guest refuses all reasonable options. Shirts cannot be turned inside out as a solution.
By entering the park, Guests grant Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix the right to film, video, record or photograph him/her on park property for any reason without payment or consideration. Six Flags requests that any that all photographs or video taken by our guests be used for their personal use and enjoyment only. Any use, reuse, or reproduction for commercial purposes without the express written consent of Six Flags is strictly prohibited. Six Flags reserves the right to refuse to allow photography of any kind as necessary at individual locations. Specifically, the use of the following equipment is not permitted:
- Go Pro cameras
- Lenses greater than three-and-one-half inches in length
- Interchangeable lenses of any kind
- Any camera mounted to a vehicle, drone, cart, scooter, or any other moving object
- No cameras (video, still, cell-phone, smart phones, etc.) are allowed on any rides at any time. No exceptions.
- Selfie sticks, monopods, or any telescoping camera mounting equipment
All Six Flags rides, shows and attractions are protected copyright. Guests must have written permission to use photographs and/or videotape of Six Flags images for commercial broadcasting, advertising, marketing or publishing in any medium.
No outside food, beverages or coolers are allowed to be brought into Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix. However, exceptions are made for Guests with special dietary needs to include food allergies, religious requirements or restrictions, and baby food/formula. Guest should contact Park Security or Guest Relations for approval to bring in special dietary foods. The special dietary food containers will be marked and dated to clearly show that they have been approved for entry into the park.
For the safety and protection of all Guests, Six Flags hurricane Harbor Phoenix prohibits the following items into the park:
- Firearms of any type
- Pocket knives or other similar items regardless of size
- Any item used for personal defense, including pepper spray
- Any controlled substances
- Skate shoes or any footwear with wheels
- Unmanned aerial vehicles (drones)
- Selfie sticks, monopods, or any telescoping camera mounting equipment
- Permanent markers (Sharpie, etc.)
Guests using profanity or abusive language, symbols or gestures may be ejected from the park without refund.
Certain attractions will observe a mandatory 10-minute safety break. During this time, guests are welcome to experience other attractions, use the facilities or rest. Affected attractions include: Hurricane Bay, Splash Island and Splashwater Beach.
Shaded areas are located throughout the park and are available on a first come basis. You may also consider renting your own private cabana. Personal Shade Structures are not allowed, only handheld umbrellas are permitted.
Guests should use trash bins to dispose of all waste. Continued and blatant disregard of this policy may be cause for ejection from the park.
Park policy compliance:
Guest and employee safety is our top priority. In addition to the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix Guest Code of Conduct, Guests are required to comply with all local, state and federal laws as well as individual park policies, rules and instructions posted or otherwise listed.
Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix allows smoking (including electronic cigarettes) only in areas identified as Designated Smoking Areas. All other areas in the parks are smoke-free and smoking is strictly prohibited. Please see the park map for exact locations of the Designated Smoking Areas. Violators are subject to ejection from the park without a refund.
Pets are not permitted in the park, with the exception of service animals. Service animals are not permitted in any pools or attractions.
No alcoholic beverages are allowed to be brought into Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix. Alcoholic beverages purchased in the park may not leave the premises. Excessive consumption of alcohol is cause for ejection from the park without refund. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Membership & Season Passes and Hand Stamp for Re-Entry:
Members and Season Pass holders must present their pass to gain entrance to the park. Membership and Season Pass entry is only valid once a day. Guests who leave the park and plan to return must get their hand stamped before they leave the park at the exit/re-entry gate. When Guests return to the park they must enter through the re-entry gate with a proper hand stamp or re-entry will not be allowed. Transferring hand stamps is a violation of Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix policies and is strictly prohibited.
There are inherent risks in the participation on any amusement ride. Guest must exercise good judgment and act in a responsible manner while participating on Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix rides. Guest must also obey all oral and written warnings and properly use all ride safety equipment provided. Guests that do not comply with ride rules may be ejected from the park without refund. Please refer to specific guidelines posted at the entrance of every ride.
Safety is our number one priority. Guests with certain body proportions, height and/or weight may not be able to participate on certain rides if the safety restraints will not operate as designed. Specific ride information is available at the ride and at Guest Relations.
Those who line jump, to gain advantage over others, will be sent to the end of the line. This policy is posted prominently in queue lines. Guests who leave the line and return to the place they left, have to go to the end of the line. Guests are not permitted to save places in line or exit the line and return. Violators may be ejected from the park without refund.
Guests are not permitted to enter any restricted area to include ride or backstage areas. Personal items that are lost in ride areas should be reported to the ride operator and Security. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix will make every effort to retrieve lost articles after normal operating hours. Guests entering restricted areas may be ejected from the park without refund.
